According to Joe Lando's webmistress:

Joe Lando just informed me that Jane Seymour was informed by Hallmark that there will be no more Prudence movies, which is unfortunate because Joe had received a script for one of them that he would have appeared in with Jane.

So not only are we losing Prudence altogether, but we're missing out on a chance to see Jane and Joe together again. A shame, if ever there was one.

So true Elaine, I am feeling down now.

Well at least we have one Dear Prudence and Joe Lando was considered for the role. We must be positive. I guess we must put the blame on this general economical crisis.

We really have no way of knowing the reasons, but we can put a positive spin on it by letting Hallmark know that we're disappointed, of course, but that we loved the earlier movie, and we'd love to see them use Jane in some of their other projects. She would be a wonderful fit for many of their movies.

We should email Hallmark with our requests for more of Prudence. With enough emails, you never know.....they could decide to make more. Let's let them hear from us!

its such a shame there wont be any more Prudence films =( it def. had great potential to be the next "mystery woman" type series of films and knowing Joe & Jane would have been reunited *sigh* such a shame.
