he wasn't seen ften in town, as Ingrid's older brother,
Jon remained special to us all. He was arrested and almost
hung when he stole (with Matthew) a steer to feed his
family. He and Matthew were both trapped in a mine during
a cave-in, but he was rescued before Matthew was.
Jon
made his last appearance when Ingrid died of rabies. Jon's
little sisters, Anna and Becka, made their first and last
appearances, as the majority of townsfolk didn't take

A brief
mention was made of Jon when Matthew told Sully that he
gave Jon his his cattle in the aftermath of Ingrid's death.
Jon took the cattle and went with the rest of his family
to Montana. He never returned to Colorado Springs.
