Irascible Barkeep
Hans
Lawsenstrom, known to most of us as Hank Lawson, walked
into our lives by hollering out, "Hey Slicker! We
got a shot fella!"
From
that point, the many layers of Hank's personality were
peeled back at various times to reveal a multi-faceted
and honestly caring person, despite his adherence to the
unwritten 'code of the West.'
But
the two that would face off on opposite sides the most
would be our own Dr. Mike and this barkeep who became
a guy you just couldn't hate if you tried. Those confrontations
usually resulted in a rather enlightened Dr. Mike being
educated in areas where she'd had no prior experience.
Every
town needs a man like Hank, and we have the real McCoy.
